Secure Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access: An Interference Engineering Perspective

نویسندگان

چکیده

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is an efficient approach that can improve spectrum utilization and support massive connectivity for next-generation wireless networks. However, over a channel, the superimposed NOMA signals are highly susceptible to eavesdropping, potentially leading severe leakage of confidential information. In this article, we unleash potential network interference exploit it constructively enhance physi-cal-layer security in particular, three different types interference, including artificial noise, specifically-designed jamming signals, inter-user well engineered intentionally reduce information while mitigating effect on signal reception quality legitimate users, thereby significantly enhancing transmission NOMA. Furthermore, propose engineering strategies more advanced full-duplex NOMA, intelligent reflecting surface cognitive radio multi-cell networks, discuss several open research problems challenges, which could inspire innovative designs secure communications.

Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access: A Unified Perspective

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is a promising technique for future mobile communication systems, which can approach multiuser channel capacity by sharing the same time-frequency resources with multiple users. In this article, we provide a unified framework for NOMA and review the principles of various NOMA schemes in different domains with the objective of creating a unified framework. A...

Exploiting Inter-User Interference for Secure Massive Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access

This paper considers the security issue of the fifth-generation (5G) wireless networks with massive connections, where multiple eavesdroppers aim to intercept the confidential messages through active eavesdropping. To realize secure massive access, non-orthogonal channel estimation (NOCE) and nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) techniques are combined to enhance the signal quality at legitimat...

Non-orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) with Successive Interference Cancellation for Future Radio Access

This paper presents our investigation of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) as a novel and promising power-domain user multiplexing scheme for future radio access. Based on information theory, we can expect that NOMA with a successive interference canceller (SIC) applied to the receiver side will offer a better tradeoff between system efficiency and user fairness than orthogonal multiple acc...

A Fair Power Allocation for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access in the Power Domain

This paper presents an investigation on the performance of the Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) in the power domain scheme. A Power Allocation (PA) method is proposed from NOMA throughput expression analysis. This method aims to provide fair opportunities for users to improve their performance. Thus, NOMA users can achieve rates higher than, or equal to, the rates obtained with the convent...
